Beauty Parlor

C is so lucky to have a daddy that will play beauty parlor with her (maybe he's trying to compensate for his lack of hair =) I don't know).

For Our Family (and anyone else who cares to see)

As I was looking at the blog, I realized it had been two weeks since I had posted about our life. While things here are pretty routine and with C not changing as much as she did in the first year, I sometimes forget that our far away family still wants to see pictures of her. These are just some random pictures from the past two weeks or so.

Mennonite Girls Can Cook

I bumped into this blog, and all the food on it looks so delish. I've tried a few of the recipes, and they've been great.

We Miss Hailey

Sometimes when Charlotte gets grumpy we show her videos of her cousin Hailey. It does wonders to her mood...

But, she's still a little stinker! Adam kept telling her not to touch the computer. He finally told her that if she touched it again, she would go to time out. She looked at him, grabbed his finger and did this.

I cannot believe that she's already finding ways around the rules. She must be her father's daughter! :)

Little Lady Bug

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We made Pumpkin Whoopie Pies, and they were so delish that we decided to make it a tradition to have them every Halloween. They take a while to make though, so I didn't get any pictures of them because I finished them just as we were ready to leave for a Halloween Party.
C was a cute little lady bug this year, and it was fun to actually take her out trick-or-treating. She loved holding her little bag and going up and saying "Hi" to everyone that gave her candy.Last minute Adam decided that we should dress up too, so we went as a farmer and his wife.
After we got home last night he wanted to sit down and talk about what we're going to be next year so that we can have all year to prepare our costumes. You'll have to wait and see...

Bathroom Cleaner

Does anyone have a spray bathroom cleaner that they LOVE? I've tried a few different ones, but haven't found any I really like. Either the smell is too harsh, or I feel like it's not disinfecting. I'm sick of trying new ones that are a disappointment. I end up using them until they're finished because I hate wasting money. HELP!
