We're adding...

a boy to the bunch!
We are so excited (especially Adam)! It was so fun to go see the little guy today. He gave the technician a little bit of a rough time when it came to getting shots of his hands and feet. He kept his ankles crossed and liked to keep his arms up by his face. We did get this profile shot though.
My favorite part is always seeing the 3D picture. It's a little sneak peek...

Straight Hair

Today I was a little bored and a little curious. I've never straightened Charlotte's hair before, and I wanted to know what it looked like...so I found out. Adam and I both decided that we are glad she has curly hair. We also couldn't help but note how uneven her hair is, but it isn't noticable when it's curly. Maybe I should take her to a professional the next time we cut her hair. We had a difficult time getting her to hold still long enough to get a picture of the back of her hair because she wanted to turn around and say "cheese." So, this is the best shot we got...and it's got some motion.

You know you've been a bad blogger when...

your husband creates a post under your name because he thinks it's been too long since the last update (see previous post about my trip to GA).
I have a few excuses for not being on top of blogging:
1. I am pregnant and was sick during the first trimester. When I did actually feel good enough to do something besides sit on the couch and convince Charlotte that she really did want to read another book, blogging just wasn't at the top of my list.
2. By the time I got around to feeling better Adam took off for an externship to St. Louis leaving me computer-less. Luckily I did have access to the internet while in Houston, but didn't have a whole lot of time to blog. I was busy hanging out with family.
3. I've been back a little over a week, but life gets a little unorganized when you're gone for a month and lets face it...I'd rather organize than blog. Heck, I'd rather organize than do a lot of things.
So, here are some pictures of our trip to Houston. We had a great time with our family, and I am so grateful that I didn't have to spend a month here alone. Also, Aunt Cassie, Uncle Jonny and Hailey moved back to Houston so Charlotte had a bunch of fun playing with her only cousin.

A month away from home

In March, Adam was living in St. Louis, MO working at De Paul hospital for his first externship during his 4th year of podiatry school. Charlotte and I went and visited both sides of the family during that month and got to skip out on all of the bad weather here in Cleveland and got to enjoy the warmer weather in Atlanta for a week. Sarah and Easton Leavitt came to Atlanta with us and made the trip so much more enjoyable. We all spent a week there in Georgia before heading back to Cleveland. We got to spend time with my family and we had a lot of fun with uncle Nathan, Dito, Mamita and Papito. We were glad that we had the opportunity to spend time with my family while Adam was away. Here are some pictures from our visit down in Georgia
Charlotte got a present from Papito and Mamita, she loves playing with baby dolls so this was the perfect gift.
